How Can I Help?
Individual Therapy
I work as a therapist at Chicago Relational Therapy. I specialize in working with millennial women struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, relational issues, and life changes. We’ll get to the root of the problems that are holding you back. We’ll identify triggers and unhelpful thought patterns. We’ll explore your values and needs and how to communicate them effectively. We’ll acknowledge and address how past trauma is impacting your present-day relationships. Together, we’ll process the good, the bad, the uncomfortable.
Does this sound like you?
Do you text lol when you’re actually upset?
Does the idea of disappointing or angering somebody else make you cringe?
Do you bend over backwards for the people you love, but end up feeling frustrated and resentful?
Feeling drained by the unrealistic expectations you set for yourself and the constant self-judgment and criticism?
Tired of feeling lonely, unworthy, or not enough?
Couples Therapy
“Choosing a partner is choosing a set of problems” - Dan Wile
For couples that are exploring taking the next step, whether that be moving in together/moving to a new city, getting married, or having kids; we’ll work together to identify and explore nonnegotiables, values, and fears.
For committed couples, our work typically involves dealing with the problems that can be solved and creating better communication, empathy, and understanding around the perpetual problems that can’t be fixed.
Regardless of what stage you’re at in your relationship, I help you cultivate greater awareness, vulnerability, and connection. As your therapist, I help you press pause when falling into destructive patterns and empower you to intentionally shift and refocus.
