Therapy for women
Said in session
I know I'm a people pleaser. I just don't know how to stop without feeling selfish or guilty.
I'm terrified of making the wrong decision and having regrets.
I'm everyone's person. I just don't really have a person.
I have the things I thought I wanted and it still doesn't feel how I thought it would.
I'm constantly worried that other people are mad at me and I replay conversations in my head for days.
I can't actually relax. There's always this low-grade hum of anxiety that won't go away.
I feel behind. I know I'm not supposed to compare myself to other people but I do and I don't feel good about where I am.
I don't know how to say how I feel without upsetting other people.
I've been so focused on getting to the next thing that I'm not really sure who I am or what actually makes me happy outside of achieving.
Individual therapy
The work of coming back to yourself
Most of the women I work with are smart, capable, and completely exhausted by the gap between how their life looks and how it actually feels. They know something is off. They just haven't been able to get to the bottom of it on their own, not for lack of trying.
We might start with the anxiety, the overthinking, the burnout, or the relationship that keeps hitting the same wall. We usually end up somewhere deeper: the beliefs formed early about what you have to do to be enough, the feelings you're trying to avoid, and the behaviors you want to leave behind but can't seem to break up with.

what we might explore
- the thoughts you can't turn off
- saying no without the spiral
- never feeling like enough
- figuring out what you actually want
- feeling unseen in your relationships
- doing it all alone because asking feels impossible
- who you are outside of what you achieve
- the fear of making the wrong choice
- relationship patterns that don't quit

No, I'm self-pay only. I full-heartedly believe that your mental health deserves coverage, but accepting insurance means spending time fighting for coverage instead of providing actual care. Being self-pay allows me to provide high quality, in-depth therapy for a small caseload. I provide superbills so you can submit for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage depends on your plan, so contact your provider directly to see what your out-of-network benefits are.

The first session is $175. All following sessions are $150. I recognize this is a significant investment and show up accordingly.

My primary lens is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), but I also draw from IFS, person-centered, attachment theory, and psychodynamic. AKA we figure out what matters to you, where your patterns come from, and how to start responding differently.

TBH, it depends. Some come for a defined season and others stay because the work keeps deepening. I don't believe in seeing people for longer than they want or need. I'll consistently check in to make sure you're getting what you came for.

Weekly to start. Meeting weekly in the beginning helps us build understanding, trust, and momentum. Once we've established a solid foundation, clients have the option to move to every other week or monthly depending on where they are in their work.
-
Then we find you someone who is! I check in after 3-4 sessions to make sure things are moving in the right direction. If it's not working, I'll try to help connect you to someone who's better suited for you. Your time and money matter too much to stay somewhere that isn't serving you.

I offer three sliding scale slots for those who need it. Reach out to see if one is currently available.

We begin
In the first session, we're getting to know each other while moving at your pace. I'll ask you questions to better understand what brought you in, what your day-to-day looks like, and what your goals are.
